Elder Managed Care & Consulting, Inc.

This is a 120-unit tower development on the Florida intra-coastal waterway overlooking the Cape Kennedy launch sites. It is a recipient of a SHIP grant from the State of Florida, which provided for necessary physical improvements. Elder Managed Care & Consulting, Inc. conducted a needs analysis for the Housing Authority of the City of Titusville, its owner, and concluded that those elderly that left the building because of normal aging needs were being forced 90 miles to the south into premature institutionalization. There existed no services in the area, even beyond those 90 miles, which were available to low-income seniors. Now these individuals will have the ability to remain at home in their own community, setting a new standard of true “aging in place.” This unique project converted regular senior housing units “on-demand” into licensed assisted living units.
